This would be the first one ever found in a galaxy that is not our own milky way, but in fact the Andromeda Galaxy. The planet that is thought to be found orbiting a star in the Andromeda Galaxy is estimated to have 6 times the mass of Jupiter, so it could either be a huge gas giant or maybe a brown dwarf.
